I made this piece to suit a custom need my roommates and I were having. At the time we were filling glass bottles for recycling in a burlap sack outside, as our apartment does not take glass recycling. I incorporated the sack into this piece in order to enrich its functionality but also elevate the aesthetic appeal within our space.

Reflecting on stool_01 and stool_02, I found myself wishing I had visited the router more often, which is an aspect I really brought alive to this piece within the curves. I had a lot of fun exploring diverse shapes and intertwining to reach this outcome.

I chose alder due to its natural durability in an outdoor setting, and its beautiful grain pattern.
